En la meteórica carrera tecnológica del mundo de los videojuegos, prácticamente cada día se anuncian nuevos lanzamientos disruptivos que dan un paso más en la evolución de esta industria. PlayStation ha anunciado una de sus últimas novedades en esta línea, dentro de sus desarrollos VR. Se trata de unos controles con diseño circular que introducen algunas de las funciones del triunfante DualSense de PS5, con otras incorporaciones innovadoras.
El diseño de los nuevos mandos de PlayStation VR
El primer impacto en la presentación de los mandos es su aspecto. Cuentan con un diseño esférico que permite su propia sujeción natural para dejar las manos del jugador libres.
El principal objetivo de los dispositivos de control es incrementar la inmersión en el juego. Para ello incluye los gatillos adaptativos del DualSense lanzado con la PlayStation 5. Que ofrece resistencia y tensión en función a la acción que se esté realizando, aumentando la sensación de realismo. Cuenta también con la funcionalidad de retroalimentación háptica y la detección táctil. En términos más sencillos, el mando puede detectar los dedos pulgar, índice o corazón al tacto sin necesidad de ejercer presión. Además de enriquecer la experiencia audiovisual aumentando la sensibilidad en cuanto a texturas y vibraciones.
Cada mando tiene sus botones de acción propios y un joystick analógico, que con la ergonomía aplicada se adaptan mucho mejor al movimiento natural de la mano y a su forma.
